Role description
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our expansion by identifying and cultivating relationships with high-caliber institutional clients. This role demands a proactive, client-centric professional with a deep understanding of digital assets and institutional trading needs. You will play a pivotal role in growing our presence in the digital assets industry, ensuring the IMMIX product suite meets the evolving needs of institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development strategies, leading client engagement from initial contact to close.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of institutional clients, focusing on hedge funds, banks, asset managers, and other institutional trading entities.
- Partner with clients to understand their unique trading requirements and demonstrate how our solutions, including advanced trading connectivity, order types, and enterprise-grade SDK, can enhance their trading capabilities.
- Lead the onboarding and relationship management process, providing exceptional client service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, research) to ensure seamless delivery and customisation of the IMMIX trading platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the digital assets, financial technology, or institutional trading industry.
- Deep knowledge of trading platforms, digital assets, and institutional trading requirements.
- Proven track record of building high value qualified pipelines and relationships with institutional clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a keen interest in emerging digital asset technologies and ecosystem trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strategic and consultative approach to sales.
